Fake and duplicate listings are common, and the risk is highest when you can’t visit.
Every listing is inspected in person by a local agent, and the badge shows the date it happened.
Titles that are hard to check
Title documents and land records are difficult to confirm on your own.
We review ownership documents before inspection. Land gets three extra checks: survey charting, a registry search and a boundary visit.
No one accountable on the ground
Owners abroad often hand a property over and hear nothing back.

Mayowa E. is the founder and managing director of Monarch Properties. He leads our verification process: owner documents are reviewed, every property is inspected in person by a local agent, and every listing is reconfirmed every 60 days. He signs off each listing before it is published, and advises clients in Nigeria and abroad on buying, renting, letting and managing property.
How we work
Four rules we don’t bend
Nothing goes live until a local agent has inspected it in person.
Our rates are public. Agents are paid from our fee, never separately by you.
Owner details stay private. Every enquiry comes to Monarch, not a chain of agents.
We collect only what we need, ask for consent, and follow Nigeria’s data protection law.

Local agents, vetted and named
Inspections are carried out by local agents in the state where the property is. Each agent is vetted by Monarch, with ID, references and a signed agreement, and is named on the listings they inspect.
